Life may as well be a stage, because I’ve spent so much of mine on one.
I’ve enjoyed 30 years of stage experience from black box to amphitheater, playing characters from every circle of life and every shade of grey.
Musicals, drama, comedy, tragedy, classics, improv, sketch comedy – I’ve done it all and still have even more to discover.
I’m an LA based Equity performer who began my theater career as a classically trained mezzo-soprano specializing in musical theater (the belting and legit kind).
Since then, I’ve sung in every kind of style there is, mastering my instrument to perform opera, jazz/big band, rock/pop and choral (to name just a few and keep this list short enough for this page to be able to load).
To add my third and final threat, I also have extensive dance experience in musical theater, jazz, modern and swing.
Beyond my music theater credits, I’ve also performed extensively in dramas and tragedies that cover the great stage works, from the plays of Shakespeare to The Mousetrap, Yellow and The Matchmaker.

Linsay Rousseau is fabulous as Miss Andrews, the evil nanny of “Brimstone and Treacle” fame. An opera singer and a very dramatic actress, Rousseau does amazing things with her voice that make “Brimstone and Treacle” both more terrifying and more funny than I’ve ever seen it performed before. Brava!
Linsay Rousseau, in the unenviable role of the religious fanatic, a kissing cousin to the mom in Carrie, has a steely conviction that is properly scary.
Linsay Rousseau, in the difficult role of Kendall’s fundamentalist mother who does not have a sympathetic bone in her body, is fantastic.
Wonderfully performed by Linsay Rousseau, this Mute has attitude to spare and becomes an integral part of the action, whether arranging the other characters and props or adding percussion and wind instruments to action.
Susan [Linsay Rousseau] and Vacas [Wesley Cayabyab] have the audience rolling in the aisles with laughter.
Ben Ortega and Linsay Rousseau are a hysterical couple.
